The solo exhibition Arlene Slavin: In Sequence 1970–2022 surveyed over fifty years of the artist's vibrant geometric abstraction. Drawing influence from non-Western traditions, Slavin painted large-scale works using layers of overlapping, shimmering color woven into her structural matrix.
The presentation showcased these early 1970s hand-drawn grid compositions alongside her mature return to the motif in her recent Intersections and Intersections Portals series, illustrating her lifelong investigation of color and light.
